“This project was a multi-year sewer rehabilitation contract consisting of flushing, CCTV inspection, and the removal of mineral deposits and protruding laterals. We worked in a variety of pipe diameters from 200mm up to 1050mm. Empipe used a wide variety of equipment along with our expertise to achieve superior results. We used our robotic cutters to cut back protrusions and remove mineral deposits in areas where poor pipe conditions did not allow more aggressive techniques. Flushers, pipe cutters and reamers were used to remove deposits to contract specifications, without causing damage to the existing pipe. We prepared over 70 km of pipe for rehabilitation without any excavations.
